About Purple Wire
We Are Building For Africa.
Purple Wire is a 100% black owned South African IT services company, strategically positioned to leverage global partnerships and deliver the latest technological advancements to businesses across the continent. From SAP and Microsoft cloud solutions to AI-driven analytics, fibre network implementation, and livestock RFID traceability, we meet our customers wherever they operate.
Our Story
Built on Delivery.
Purple Wire was founded in 2008 with a clear purpose: to give South African and African businesses access to the same quality of enterprise IT delivery that global organisations take for granted, without the complexity, cost, or cultural disconnect of working with offshore providers.
We started with a deep specialisation in SAP integration and data management, winning our first major engagement with Heineken South Africa in 2008 and building a long-running relationship with Coca-Cola Beverages Africa from 2009. These early wins shaped our delivery philosophy: understand the client's environment completely, take full accountability, and never overpromise.
By 2023, we had expanded into public sector ICT consulting, Azure cloud platforms, and IoT-based asset tracking, delivering for NHBRC, LGSETA, SITA, and Gauteng e-Government. Today, we are extending our footprint into three new strategic verticals: fibre and Wi-Fi network implementation, RFID-based livestock traceability, and AI automation for mining and construction.
Our ambition is Pan-African. Our delivery is local. And our accountability is absolute.
